Studio, Dana Fine Arts

Art students flock to the Dana Fine Arts Building to practice sketching, complete their masterworks, and become expert painters, sculptors, and architects. One might find studious aspiring artists in the studio at all hours of the night, refining their craft and perfecting their technique.

Main Reading Room, McCain Library

Some Scotties feel that the classics are better, finding sanctuary in the Main Reading room of McCain Library. This room has an air of academia, reflecting the history of our institution. In fact, many prospective Agnes Scott students are wowed by the architecture, making it a focal point of tours and brochures.

Elmore Reading Room, McCain Library

Many students find the Elmore reading room on the Ground floor of McCain Library to be the perfect place to study. The large windows facing towards the Science Quad let in sunlight all day, providing gorgeous views and a connection to the outside world.

Science Quad

When the weather is nice, many students enjoy studying outside, especially in the afternoons. There are beautiful locations all over campus, but the Science Quad is the perfect place to put out a picnic blanket (which can be checked out from the McCain circulation desk) and get to work.
