Agnes Scott Student Uses Artistic Ability to Encourage Latino Voting in Georgia

We Scotties are all bound together by determination and eagerness to make a difference in our world through our education. One scottie in particalr, Yehimi Cambron ’14, is using her gift of creativity to not only benefit her community, but the entire state of Georgia. As a studio art major at Agnes Scott, Cambron focuses mainly on figure drawing and mixed media works though she recently began to experiment with printmaking which drew her to entering in the logo design contest for an GALEO (Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials).

Agnes Scott to launch new brand personality

In the fall of 2012, Agnes Scott College will launch a new brand, including an updated motto, graphic elements, and website layout. The new brand will reflect findings from research, focus groups, and interviews, and will better reflect the values and personality of Agnes Scott to the internal and external community.
