The winners of the Agnes Scott Writers’ Festival competition were announced March 30 at 8 p.m. before Joy Harjo’s reading. The results are as follows:
Fiction: “That Sounds Like a Great Band Name” by Robert Mynatt (Oglethorpe)
Poetry: “Learning to Pray in Spanish” by Christine Swint (GSU)
Drama: “The Qi to Success” by Phoebe Perry ’14
Nonfiction: “Two Fountains” by Anna Cabe ’13 and “On the Ward” by Keely Lewis ’14
All winners received $500 prizes.
Other Agnes Scott student finalists included May May Kaufman ’12, Leah Kuenzi ’12, Merrill Montgomery ’12, Christen Thompson ’12, and Caitlin White ’13.
