We’re having a party!

Hey guys, guess what! The Profile is turning 6 months old on February 16 (awwww)!

To celebrate, we are throwing a massive party including:

FREE champagne (21 and up, of course)
A fun photo-booth (complete with props)
Trivia hosted by a very special Professor
A raffle with prizes from MacMcgees, Raging Burrito and many more.
CAKE!! (the food, not the band unfortunately)

Atlanta Schools To Repay $363,000 For Cheating

On Jan. 20, Georgia state officials reported that Atlanta Public Schools intend to return upward of $363,000 awarded to the district due to cheating during testing.

Scandal Surrounds Susan G. Komen, Planned Parenthood

On Jan. 31 it was announced that the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer pulled its partnership with Planned Parenthood. The Foundation had previously funded education programs and provided breast cancer screenings for low-income patients. The alleged reason behind Komen’s decision was the newly adopted regulation that states that the foundation couldn’t provide grants for organizations that were/are being investigating by state, local or federal authorities. The foundation released a statement that indicated they would like to strengthen their grants programs and had “implemented more stringent performance and eligibility criteria”.
